Okta seeks a skilled NetSuite Developer to optimize, customize, and maintain our NetSuite ERP system. As part of our Business Technology team, you will be responsible for developing scripts, workflows, integrations, and system enhancements to improve business processes and scalability. This role reports to the Director of Finance Technology.  We’d love to hear from you!

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the Design, development, and maintenance of NetSuite customizations, including SuiteScripts, workflows, and saved searches.
• Leverage NetSuite's native AI capabilities and APIs, such as the SuiteScript Generative AI API, NetSuite Prompt Studio, and the AI Connector Service (MCP) to create custom AI-enhanced features.
• Work with the Analyst and Off-shore (India) team to play as a Catalyst for all technical design, POC, and help the team evaluate the new tool and technology
• Closely work with the BT team to design, develop, test, implement & support system solutions primarily in NetSuite ERP.
• Provide technical consultation, best practices, and problem resolution.
• Support & resolve production issues
• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party applications via REST/SOAP APIs.
• Dedicate time to learning and experimenting with external AI frameworks like AWS Bedrock and RAG to identify opportunities for future NetSuite enhancements.

Required Skills:

• 9+ years of NetSuite development experience ( SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk ).
• Experience with SuiteCloud tools, REST/SOAP APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Experience with the SuiteScript Generative AI APIs to integrate LLM capabilities for advanced scripting solutions.
• Strong understanding of NetSuite ERP modules (Order Management, Billing, Vendor bill, etc.).
• Proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, and related web technologies.
• Configure NetSuite modules to align with business needs, including leveraging Prompt Studio to customize and manage NetSuite AI functions like Text Enhance.
• Ability to drive and architect solutions with other developers, focusing on maximizing the value of embedded NetSuite AI capabilities.
• Evaluate and integrate AI/ML platforms (AWS Bedrocks/Azure Open AI etc. ) and frameworks (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, DataRobot) with ERP and financial and legal ecosystems
• Partner with the Shared Services AI team to operationalize AI/ML solutions/ models within G&A functions, ensuring alignment with business outcomes.
• Design data pipelines and model-serving layers that connect structured and unstructured data (invoices, contracts, emails) to AI/ML tools
• Have the working knowledge of any of the LLMs like Gemini, OpenAI, or Claude
• Nice to have some core Amazon Machine Learning (ML) services, specifically AWS SageMaker (for building, training, and deploying custom ML models) and AWS Comprehend (for natural language processing and text analytics), and  Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)

Education and Certifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent years of industry experience
• Certification as a NetSuite Administration or ERP consultant is an advantage.

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in San Francisco Bay Area. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $156,000—$234,000 USD
