OVERVIEW:
TimberCreek Church is looking for a full time Kids Pastor/Director! The Kids Pastor will be part of the TimberCreek Church Leadership Team and will be responsible for all aspects of ensuring the spiritual growth and development of kids ages 0-4th grade. We are seeking an individual with prior experience in kids ministry as they will lead the TimberCreek Kids Ministry (currently avg 75 kids per week), and be responsible for developing and executing scaleable strategies to effectively reach kids and their families as our church continues to grow.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead a team of paid/volunteer staff in the operation of a high energy, fun and engaging kids ministry.
- Regularly prepare/develop curriculum for a kids ministry program that is part of the church’s weekend service schedule.
- Implement kids check-in, classroom management, and security practices in support of weekend services and periodic special events.
- Direct the recruitment, training, and development of volunteers as needed to provide excellent leadership within kids ministry.
- Lead the creative use and proactive upkeep of kids ministry spaces and equipment.
- Oversee the setup, operation, and tear-down of all related kids ministry environments on Sunday mornings.
- Oversee communication between the church, kids, and families.
- Provide resources for parents and families as needed.
- Assist in the development of an annual budget for kids ministry and manage spending to budget.
- Participate in staff meetings and other meetings as scheduled.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Born again believer of Jesus Christ.
-3 years experience leading kids ministry.
-Experience managing a budget.
-Experience leading staff/volunteer teams.
-Highly organized and motivated.
-Strong leadership skills.
