We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Communications & Marketing Assistant to join our team! This role is perfect for candidates passionate about communications, event marketing, community outreach, and nonprofit work , eager to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment .

No experience required — full paid training provided!

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, media communications, and outreach initiatives for fundraising and community events

• Conduct research on industry trends, media outlets, and competitor communications to support campaign strategy

• Support community engagement and nonprofit outreach to boost client visibility

• Draft, edit, and proofread social media posts, talking points, event materials, and internal communications

• Provide administrative support , including scheduling, correspondence, and document management

• Collaborate with team members to develop creative messaging and marketing strategies

• Track and report campaign performance, community engagement, and outreach metrics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field preferred but not required

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently

• Proactive, coachable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment

• Interest in community outreach, nonprofit communications, and event marketing

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
