Nuclear Energy Opportunity Overview: Energy Storage Engineer, level 4 position is based in Juno Beach, FL. You can work remotely but need to travel 25% dedicated to in office visits. You will have the responsibility of planning, designing, and implementing multiple aspects of energy storage projects. You will have the exploring the subject area, definition of scope, engineering oversight and consulting across the teams to deliver an outstanding product. You will have a blend of technical expertise with project management skills and have relevant experience the energy storage field. You will report to the onsite Manager. Your Day-to-Day:

• You will support the design phase and engineer major components for large-scale energy storage projects.
• Recognize inconsistencies in engineering drawings, take corrective action, and work toward better design quality and efficiency
• Prepare technical scopes of work for contracts.
• Work with project managers and manage project milestones and recognize risks
• Work with diverse teams, improve opportunities, and integrate systems and controls.
• Must understand the specifications for major equipment purchasing, ensure, and propose solutions
• Must understand the permitting requirements, propose solutions to legal challenges, and recommend site design improvements.
• Travel 25% of the time for project specific responsibilities.

Who You Are:

• Must have 15+ Years experience Solar/PV Engineering or Construction
• Must have expertise in one or more of these areas: Power electronics, Battery storage system design, Substation design, Generation tie design.
• Must have the familiarity with energy storage technologies, including battery chemistries, power conversion units, and DC/DC converters.
• Must have the familiarity with lithium-ion battery storage safety standards (UL1973, UL9540, UL9540A, NFPA 855, NFPA 70E, NEC, applicable IFC/IBC sections)
• Must have familiarity with IEC 61215, 61646, 61730

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $89.00/hr. to 94.00/hr.
