Job Title
Golf Cart Detailer
Job Purpose
Maintain and prepare Major Unit showroom inventory for sale and deliveries. Make minor repairs and adjustments when needed to vehicles and accessories.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Efficiently cleans the exterior and interior of units to enhance their appearance.
· Adds decals and makes minor cosmetic repairs.
· Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation.
· Reports any damage and safety issues immediately to management.
· Arranges carts in showroom floor for sales display daily and in outside lot as needed.
· Performs quality control and inspection of new carts.
· Performs pre-delivery inspections on sold carts prior to delivery.
· Installs parts and accessories.
· Cleans and details new, used and consignment carts.
· Detail service carts when customers request it.
· Assist customers and staff as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum of a high school diploma, G.E.D. or relative work experience. General knowledge of tools, mechanics, and electronics.
Physical Requirements
Must be physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds. Lifting, bending, stooping and floor work required.
Working Conditions
Attire is casual with an emphasis on neatness.
Some weekends are required during peak season.
