Job Description
Eaton's IS Filtration division is currently seeking a Basket Fabricator - Production Welder.
The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour. The hours for this shift are 7:00 am - 3:00 pm.
Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
**What you'll do:**
- Read and interpret prints, charts, work orders and other documents used in the manufacture of strainer baskets
- Accurately use measurement and cutting equipment such as tape measures calipers, hand shears, table shear, drill press, cut off tools, grinders, engraver and inductive spot welding machines
- Use roll forming equipment and perform simple assembly of metal components
- Assist with cycle counting of inventory and annual physical inventory as needed
**All manufacturing employees at Williamsport are also responsible for** :
- Complying with all Environment, Health, & Safety (EHS) standards
- Complying with all work and process instructions
- Identifying improvement opportunities
- Utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each task associated with the job
- Working safely and reporting all near misses, illnesses, and injuries following established procedures.
- Completing any initial or recurring training issued by the site or Eaton

- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment
- Able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Reside within a 50-mile radius of Williamsport, MD
+ No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Metal fabrication experience
- Basic computer and software skills
