Location: Local to Malvern PA or Charlotte, NC to be on site for occasional meetingsDuration: 6 months with possibility to extendCompensation range: $60-$80/hr W2We are seeking a Product Designer who will be a key driver of design thinking across our entire product lifecycle. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for both designing exceptional user experiences and developing strategic solutions that seamlessly align user needs with critical business goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, research, and analytics, to ensure the product delivers maximum value to users while consistently meeting company objectives. This role requires you to lead projects and drive successful design outcomes at the lab or product family level. Responsibilities: Designs user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI elements to deliver a seamless user experience across mobile and web platforms, while utilizing established corporate design systems, and brand standards. Develops user interface architecture strategies to support and improve the user interface. Creates experience strategy documentation including wireframes and site maps. Partners with cross-departmental teams and business leaders to prioritize UX efforts that align with business objectives. Helps translate user needs and feedback into actionable product features. Coordinates and delivers design, prototype, and documentation to improve the user experience. Collaborates with research and data analytics teams to incorporate quantitative and qualitative data into the design process, ensuring decisions are informed by user insights. Leverage experimentation to validate hypothesis across the feasibility, desirability, and viability spectrum. Analyzes market trends, competitive analysis, OKRs, and user behavior to develop UX strategies that inform design decisions and product direction. Advocates for user-centered design solutions that evolve with changing business goals and user needs, while keeping a close eye on emerging technologies and design trends. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: 5+ years of industry/field experience in user experience design. Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience in a creative or technical field. Expert knowledge of Figma. Experience with JIRA tracking and task management. Visual design experience with proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography and aesthetic sense and how these elements impact product function. A portfolio that displays the above. Demonstrated creativity, empathy, passion, and problem-solving ability. Effective communication and collaboration skills with a demonstrated ability to gather information from experts in different areas. General understanding of user experience design, including information architecture, interaction design, visual design, user research, and design thinking. The ability to pass a drug screen and fingerprint background check.
