It is possible one person could fill both. CAOLH teachers are tasked with delivering excellent instruction and participating in the culture and life of the academy for the sake of student formation. There is one section of Biology, which meets 4 days per week. There are 2 sections of Theology, which meet 3 days per week each. Essential skills for this role include mission and vision alignment, expertise in the subject matter, thoughtful lesson planning, effective organization, clear communication, practical wisdom, and the ability to create a classroom atmosphere that fosters joy, respect, order, wonder, and active participation. Strong applicants must be animated by a spirit of wonder and the desire to grow intellectually, professionally, in character, and in faith. Having taught or previously been educated in classical schools is desirable.
