Job Description

Description Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join their team for seasonal or ongoing tax support. The Tax Preparer will work closely with clients to ensure accurate and timely filing of individual and/or business tax returns, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals or businesses + Collect and review financial records, documents, and client information for accuracy + Research and apply current tax laws and regulations to client returns + Identify opportunities for tax credits and deductions based on client's financial situation + Communicate with clients regarding tax documents, deadlines, and questions + Respond to IRS and state agency correspondence or audit requests Requirements + Previous experience as a tax preparer (individual or business) + Strong understanding of current tax laws, regulations, and filing procedures + Experience with tax preparation software (e.g., Intuit ProConnect, Drake, or similar platforms) + Excellent attention to detail, organizational and communication skills + Ability to work efficiently within tight deadlines Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
