We are currently hiring an Entry-Level Sports-Minded Sales Representative to join our Landover office. Our client is in need of expanding our renewable energy outreach efforts that provide accessible, clean energy options without the hassle of massive installation fees or service costs. The main objective of the Entry-Level Sports Minded Sales Representative is to qualify and enroll potential prospects and assist them through the sign-up process. 

The Entry-Level Sports-Minded Sales Representative - Entry Level will communicate directly with local community members, qualify them for available products, and explain the value and impact these products can have. In addition, they are responsible for generating interest and excitement and helping connect the customer to accessible clean energy options. We are looking for a passionate, caring individual who can build quick, genuine relationships and has a strong desire to join a company where they can make a difference both in the office and in our local communities. Each Entry-Level Sports-Minded Sales Representative will receive competitive pay, daily training and mentorship from company leaders, and excellent advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities of the Entry-Level Sports-Minded Sales Representative:

• Engage in person with prospective enrollees in the local community, educate them about their clean energy options, and assist them through the qualification and sign-up process
• Meet directly with potential customers to determine their eligibility for specialized products in face-to-face settings
• Drive a high level of self-generated lead activity to create a referral pipeline 
• Collaborate with fellow Entry-Level Sports-Minded Sales Representative and the customer service team to learn best practices and develop streamlined outreach and marketing methods 
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the entire sign-up process, as well as continuing to offer support even after enrollment in the program
• Actively contribute to a positive, engaging work environment by collaborating and maintaining professional, friendly relationships across all teams and departments

Qualifications for the Entry-Level Sports-Minded Sales Representative position:

• Associates Degree in business, communications, or marketing is highly preferred, but not necessary, depending on prior experience
• At least 1-2 years of customer service, sales, community involvement, or any other applicable experience
• High level of emotional intelligence and superior communication skills
• Professional, reliable, and genuine demeanor with a proven track record of building effective relationships with community members, co-workers, and clients 
• Entrepreneurial-minded with a high level of motivation and desire for growth
• Highly attentive, excellent listener, and exceptional organizational and time management skills
