Our ideal Dental Hygienist will excel in:
● Patient communication & education
● Removal of hard and soft deposits from teeth
● Examination of oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease
● Record dental histories and documentation of periodontal & restorative conditions
● Partnering with the Dr. Julian to instruct and educate patients on oral hygiene and wellness, preventive dental care, TMJ, implants, and sleep apnea
● Taking digital x-rays and applying fluoride/sealants
Our Dental Hygiene Requirements include:
● Associate’s Degree from ADA accredited dental hygiene school (new grads welcome!)
● Current state licensure
● HIPAA, OSHA & CPR Certified
● Certified in administering local anesthesia
This is a part-time, Tuesday and Thursday position with patient care hours from 8:30am-5pm. No nights or weekends. One patient per hour and 90 minutes for SRPs. If you have experience with Dentrix and working in a digital office that’s a huge plus, too!
