Primary Function

Responsible for workflow and is the liaison for the Radiologists located in the Reading Room.

Responsibilities

1. Greets and receives visitors and phone calls and conveys messages promptly and courteously.
2. Coordinates Radiologists workflow with the reading rooms and acts as a liaison for the Radiologists with all modalities, hospital units and physicians.
3. Obtains and processes appropriate paperwork as it pertains to patient/scan for Radiologists review.
4. Fax/distributes stat case readings.
5. Coordinates medical Students with Radiologists.
6. Coordinates and assists Radiologists in Tumor Board requests for Diagnostic Imaging.
7. Serves as Kent Liaison with Radiologists main office with physician/procedure coordination and assignment of cases.
8. Contacts physicians with report findings.
9. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications and Specifications

A High School diploma required. Experience working with patients in a healthcare setting preferred.
