Location: Urbana, OH
Job Title: Powder Coater - 3rd Shift

Primary Activities/Duties:

• Prepare metal parts for powder coating by cleaning, masking, and hanging them on racks.
• Operate powder coating equipment to apply paint according to specifications.
• Inspect finished products for quality, coverage, and consistency.
• Maintain proper documentation of production and quality checks.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of painting equipment and spray booths.
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Assist with loading/unloading parts from the curing oven.
• Support department housekeeping and 6-S initiatives.
• Participate in cross-training and internal audits as needed.

Knowledge & Experience:

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in industrial painting or powder coating preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and safety guidelines.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and move parts and equipment as required.

• Hearing protection
• Other (PPE) where required.

Work Environment:

• Warehouse and manufacturing areas with exposure to hot and cold temperatures, dust, and noise.
