Duties Description The duties of this position will include but are not limited to the following:- Perform and supervise registration activities and fee collection; keep records for several State Park offices.- Interact with the public, answer visitor questions, and handle complaints.- Supervise others, including assigning and reviewing work, training, and developing employee skills, and evaluating seasonal employees.- Prepare seasonal payrolls, timesheets, and perform other functions as needed.- Enter attendance and revenue data.- Manage special programs and activities including preparing Special Permits.- Keep inventory of equipment, monitor condition, and schedule or perform repairs.- Reconcile procurement card transactions, enter data into the Budget Expenditure Tracking System (BETS) and the Statewide Financial System (SFS).- Assist in obtaining quotes for purchases and billing.- Act as a liaison with the Regional Business Office.- Perform other park-related duties as assigned, such as refuse removal, litter removal around the building, cleaning structures, and snow removal.

Minimum Qualifications One year of experience* in the operation and / or maintenance of a park, historic site, golf course, or recreational facility. In addition to operations and maintenance, the following types of experience are also qualifying: law enforcement or security, firefighting, environmental education, environmental stewardship, natural resource management, forest management, wildlife management or preservation, or historic preservation or interpretation; OROne year of military service in any of the military branches; ORAn Associate's or higher-level degree, or 60 credit hours of college level coursework; ORCompletion of an appropriate two-year technical / trades school program or two years' experience as a trades assistant under the supervision of a skilled tradesperson.*If verifiable, we will accept and prorate part-time and volunteer experience.
