Job Description

A private family in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a warm, active, and engaging Nanny to care for their three young children under 4 years old. This is a live-out position with a primary schedule of Thursday 7:30 AM–1:30 PM, Friday 1:30 PM–8:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, and Sunday 8:00 AM–8:00 PM. This schedule allows the role to function as nearly full-time for candidates seeking additional weekday hours, while also remaining well-suited to part-time candidates who are available for Saturday and Sunday full days only. The family values a collaborative, team-oriented Nanny who will provide nurturing, safe, and stimulating care.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, energetic, and comfortable creating a structured yet fun environment for three active toddlers. This role requires someone who feels confident caring for all three children independently, while also being comfortable assisting with light household tasks when the parents are home and the children are spending time with them. A willingness to be hands-on, adapt to evolving routines, and pitch in where needed will be key to success in this role. Travel is not required for this position, though there may be occasional optional opportunities for travel if interested.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing attentive, hands-on care for three young children under 4 years old
• Confidently managing all three children independently when needed
• Creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment with age-appropriate developmental activities
• Supervising swimming and water play; must be confident in the water
• Assisting with children’s daily routines, including meals, naps, and bedtime
• Handling children’s laundry and light tidying related to the children
• Assisting with light household tasks when parents are home and children are occupied with them
• Preparing simple snacks and meals as needed
• Limited driving initially; more driving responsibilities may develop as children grow
• Occasional optional travel with the family, if mutually agreed upon
• Additional Nanny responsibilities as needed and requested by the principals
  

Requirements:

• Fluent in English; exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• 4-year degree from an accredited College or University a PLUS (but not required)
• Minimum 5+ years related experience working in a similar position(s) with a private family; toddler experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of general First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
• Energetic, hands-on, and able to keep up with three young children under 4 years old
• Must be able to adapt to the changing needs of the family and adhere to guidelines set by parents
• Confident swimmer; able to supervise children in and around water
• Valid Driver’s License; must have own vehicle
• Prior experience traveling with families as a nanny a PLUS; valid passport a PLUS
• Authorized to work within the United States without sponsorship

Salary:

$25-$35 per hour; All salaries are Dependent On Experience, References, and results of a Federal Background Check
