Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage in an Emergency Medicine setting in Marion, IN.
This is an excellent opportunity for an APP looking for flexible coverage starting January 5, 2026.

🏥 Job Details:

Specialty: Emergency Medicine
Setting: Acute Care Hospital – Busy ER environment
Schedule:

Coverage for specific dates (with potential for future shifts)
Sample dates:

1/5: 10a–10p
1/8: 12p–8p
1/10: 12p–8p
1/20: 10a–10p
1/22: 12p–8p
1/29: 10a–10p
1/30: 10a–10p

No call required

Contract Length: ~13 weeks (flexible)
Start Date: January 5, 2026 (credentialing required)
Patient Volume:

ED Main: 15–20 patients per shift
ED East: 10–12 patients
Express: 15–20 patients

Charting Software: Meditech
Support Staff: Physicians manage high-acuity cases; collaborative ER team
Environment: Busy ER with trauma cases (e.g., gunshot wounds)

✅ Requirements:

Active Indiana PA license (required at submission)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA only)
Emergency Medicine experience required
Must be comfortable in a high-volume ER setting
No background or malpractice issues that could delay credentialing

📋 Credentialing:

Tight timeline – provider must already hold an active Indiana license
Completion of facility-specific forms and verifications required
