We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our team in New York, NY on a Contract to permanent employment basis. In this role, you will oversee various human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws. This position requires a proactive approach to building a positive organizational culture and ensuring HR policies are effectively implemented.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, including onboarding and offboarding for employees.
- Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, coordinating with vendors and overseeing open enrollment periods.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, staying updated on relevant labor laws.
- Handle employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and coaching.
- Develop, update, and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Oversee performance management activities, including goal-setting and corrective measures.
- Support workforce planning and organizational development initiatives to enhance productivity and growth.
- Maintain accurate HR data and generate reports to support decision-making processes.
- Provide training for managers and employees on compliance, harassment prevention, and other HR-related topics.
- Collaborate with leadership to strengthen employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, including generalist or managerial roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proven expertise in managing employee relations and conducting investigations.
- Preferred certifications include PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as Bamboo, Workday, and Greenhouse.
- Familiarity with tools like monday.com and other HR-related systems. TalentMatch®
