Responsibilities

• Provide general, light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, dusting, laundry, vacuuming, mopping floors
• Purchase food and household supplies
• Make beds and change the bedding
• Wash dishes and empty trash cans
• Observe and report any pertinent information directly related to the well-being of the client
• Complete a minimum of 6 hours of in-service education
• Adhere to all agency policies
• Adheres to strict confidentiality in regard to client’s personal life.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English
• Must be able to speak and understand English in order to communicate with supervisors and clients
• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and current auto insurance
• Ability to act in a supportive and compassionate manner
