Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) delivers a comprehensive suite of banking, capital markets and advisory solutions, including a full complement of sales, trading and research capabilities, to corporate, government and institutional clients. Markets provides solutions to clients with the means to manage their exposure through various derivatives, lending and cash products across Structured Products Group, Rates, Equities, Foreign Exchange, Municipal Products Group, Credit Sales & Trading.

Macro (FX/Rates) provides liquidity and hedging solutions to Wells Fargo's commercial, corporate, and institutional clients across Interest Rates (USD and Non-$), FX Markets (spot, forwards, swaps, and options in G10 and EM currencies), and FX Payments (online portal and API integrations).

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Executive Director to join our Product Management team. This role will focus on Macro trading aspects. 


In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop teams in roles of moderately complex initiatives or financial, client, and risk management outcomes for Securities Product Management
  • Identify the origination, modeling, portfolio management, and all risk management including compliance and operational risk
  • Review and analyze moderately complex business and operational objectives that require an in-depth evaluation
  • Complete work in accordance with all risk management, compliance and business process expectations
  • Resolve moderate to high-risk complex issues and lead team while leveraging solid understanding of policies, procedures and compliance requirements
  • Conduct due diligence and portfolio administration as necessary, and provide research on relevant industry trends
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects, teams or serve as a peer mentor
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Securities Product Management
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy


Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Securities Product Management or leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience


Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Macro trading experience

  • Knowledge of the Macro businesses. Understand the regulatory requirements for Macro trading.

  • 10+ years of industry related experience

  • Prior experience in product development or change management capacity as a lead or influencer

  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, at all levels of the organization, including senior executive-level leadership

  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members

  • Experience with Agile practices and frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, etc.) and workflow and collaboration tools, such as Confluence & Jira

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio and PowerPoint) and reporting tools (PowerBI, Tableau) skills

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to independently own a portfolio of products and product areas during all stages of the product life cycle.

  • Prior experience in trading, trading coverage, or trading support is highly valued

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, engineering, math, economics, finance, or related field

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$215,000.00 - $355,000.00
