Dental Hygienist - Ann Arbor, MI & Livonia, MI
Compensation: $45 - $52 per hour

About the Job
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist who will play a critical role in promoting patient health through preventive oral care. You will also provide patient education on oral hygiene, maintain accurate records and sterilization standards, and communicate your findings to the dentist to support diagnosis and treatment planning. This position is 3 days in Ann Arbor + 1–2 days in Livonia.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform thorough teeth cleanings, removing tartar, stains, and plaque.
Apply preventive treatments, including fluoride and sealants.
Take and develop dental X-rays and conduct patient screening for oral diseases and conditions.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, a balanced diet, and preventive habits.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records; uphold sterilization and infection control protocols.
Communicate patient findings effectively to the overseeing dentist to inform diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
Qualifications :
Associate’s degree (required) or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
Active licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in Michigan.
Proven experience in general dentistry.
Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear guidance and compassionate care.
Familiarity with dental equipment, instruments, and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
