Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager (Provision) to join a high-performing tax team. This role focuses on business income tax planning, corporate compliance, and ASC 740 income tax accounting (provision preparation or audit support). You will manage multiple client engagements, lead teams, and collaborate closely with tax specialists to deliver innovative solutions.

• Lead and manage corporate tax engagements from start to finish, including planning, execution, and budget management.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate senior associates, associates, and interns, fostering professional development.
• Conduct primary review of ASC 740 income tax provision engagements.
• Review staff-prepared tax returns, ensuring accuracy and identifying tax savings opportunities.
• Research and consult on various tax issues, leveraging tax software tools.
• Respond to inquiries from federal, state, and local tax authorities.
• Develop strong relationships with clients and collaborate with management at all levels.
• Stay current with professional training and tax law developments.
• Uphold the highest professional and confidentiality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• CPA license (active).
• 4-7 years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience.
• Must have Tax provision experience
• Strong expertise in ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes.
• Experience working in a Top 15 public accounting firm in recent years.
• Ability to work in a hybrid schedule (2+ days in office per week) in Cincinnati or willingness to relocate.
• Strong proficiency in U.S. GAAP and corporate income tax laws.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OneSource Tax Provision.
• Background in public accounting or professional services.
• Strong knowledge of state, local, and international tax compliance.
• Demonstrated success in client service, communication, and leadership.
