Superintendent - Multifamily Affordable Housing

Jacksonville, FL | $95,000 - $110,000 DOE

What You’ll Do

This is a lead Superintendent role for a ground-up affordable housing project in Jacksonville, built under the tax credit program and designed for the 55+ community. You’ll be the point person on-site, working closely with the project team to make sure every detail is on track from site prep to final inspections. It’s a meaningful project with long-term community impact, and your leadership in the field will help set the tone for quality and accountability.

• Oversee all on-site construction activity from start to finish
• Manage daily subcontractor operations, schedules, inspections, and safety protocols
• Ensure compliance with ADA standards, building codes, and tax credit construction requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation and daily logs using construction management software
• Coordinate with inspectors, consultants, and stakeholders to keep the project moving
• Create a clean, safe, and well-run jobsite that reflects the standards of the team and the community it serves

What You Bring

• 10+ years of experience in commercial or multifamily construction
• Experience leading full-cycle projects in the field ideally including affordable housing or LIHTC work
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards and compliance in senior housing builds
• Skilled at managing multiple trades on site and holding teams accountable to schedule and quality
• Proficient with field software and reporting tools
• Calm, clear communicator who knows how to lead without micromanaging
