Automotive Detailer

Location: Salem, NH

$18.00 - $20.00 Hour

Overview

As a Detailer at Dent Wizard , you will play a key role in ensuring vehicles meet our high-quality standards. You’ll be responsible for cleaning and refurbishing both the interior and exterior of vehicles, presenting them in pristine condition for our customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning, washing, waxing, and polishing of vehicle exteriors.
• Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interiors, including upholstery, carpets, and floor mats.
• Clean and polish windows, mirrors, and chrome accessories.
• Apply protective finishes to maintain shine and protect surfaces.
• Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects or areas needing attention.
• Use appropriate cleaning products and tools while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing workspace.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Report any damage or issues to management immediately.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and ensuring satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Previous experience in automotive detailing preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for vehicle care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements

• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to perform simple and fine motor hand manipulations.
• Work in ventilated automotive repair shops, refurbishing facilities, or outdoors.
• Ability to operate various detailing equipment and tools.

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
